Lone Mountain is a historic hill in west-central San Francisco. It was once the location of Lone Mountain Cemetery, a complex encompassing the Laurel Hill, Calvary, Masonic, and Odd Fellows Cemeteries – Spooky.

Clocking-in at over 4,250 square ft, this gorgeous multi-unit property boasts three levels, seven bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Background

This project came to us as a full house remodel.

Challenges

The existing multi-unit building needed to be re-engineered and remodeled to a single family property.

Clients wanted to retain some of the original 1941 finishes.

Results

The aging property was brought back to studs to allow for urgent seismic upgrades and remodelling. The property also required entirely new electrics, re-plumbing, floors, heating and bathrooms.

The highlight for us was the result of an expansive open floor plan feturing a large living room with traditional fireplace, dining area and chefs kitchen with abundant custom cabinetry.

Clients gave OARCON a blank canvas to to blend traditional and all-new 21st century finishes.
