Our Bernal Heights project was a remodel of a family home to transform a dated Marina Style period property in to a contemporary and comfortable living space.

Background

Project was originally a basic remodel of a family home, focusing on increased living space and structural improvements to a dated building.

Challenges

Top of our clients wishlist was a new open plan living space. Removing interior support walls necessitated structural upgrades throughout the property.

Clients also wanted an upgrade of the facade which had to be managed in accordance with strict state planning laws for period homes.

Results

Every detail was carefully selected and quality crafted. Highlights include Lutron light and shade systems, heated bathroom floors, concrete first-level and hallway floors, teak wood bedroom flooring, troweled plaster walls and ceilings, artwork  display lighting, hidden mechanicals, a climate-control system, high-tech security system, and spacious corner windows to maxmise natural light.

We added new concrete planters and structural reinforcements plus new landscaping at the front and rear of the property.
