The Arts and Crafts style was an international movement in the decorative and fine arts which flourished in Europe and North America between 1880 and 1910. It stood for traditional craftsmanship using simple forms, and often used medieval, romantic, or folk styles of decoration.
Every detail of our Green Street Arts & Crafts Revival Project was quality crafted in order to create the perfect setting for clients who like to entertain in grand style.
The property’s now cosy, old-world feel is epitomized by traditional craft finishes, a solid teak stairwell, a wood-burning open fire, a three-oven AGA stove and a spacious decked balcony which spills out to overlook Alcatraz and the San Francisco Bay.

This project came to us as a full remodel of a family home.
Challenges
Clients had a deep appreciation for the very distinctive craft style and are personal friends of internationally renowned Interior Designer John Wheatman who regularly called to the property during development to offer advice and guidance.
Design process needed to be adaptive to cater for last minute changes and updated briefs.
Results
Style, Style, Style. A perfect example of the collaborative process between client-designers-contractors.
Property was fully remodeled, with new window spaces and the addition of a large sun-room window overlooking Alcatraz. Multiple new craft features. New electrics thoughout. New roofdeck and glass rail.
